Can't teach an old Romulan new tricks

As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, I had to move from my company's main office to its auxiliary site, which is about a mile closer to home. Now, given my known difficulties in changing set habits -- back when I moved from an apartment to my house, for at least a year I would periodically space out and miss the (earlier) exit I needed to take from 264 going home from work -- I was fully expecting to spend my first week or more bypassing the turn for the office and finding myself en route to corporate. But to my surprise, I settled into the new route with no problems.

Until this week. Monday morning I experienced a classic case of delayed-reaction habit regression. (I just invented that phrase.) When I came to, I was in the left lane of Laskin Road at the light where I needed to turn right. So onward to the Farm Fresh where I could turn around in the parking lot and head back to my turnoff.

Relatively trivial fix at this point, but now I'm taking bets on how long it'll be, when we move the whole company to the old VEC building on Viking Drive, before I find myself on 264 heading for the Oceanfront when I should be parked and walking in the door to my office.
