Pink Slip Blues
To the recipients of the latest round of pink slips (which, a certain out-of-kilter Aussie has pointed out, weren't actually pink) from our erstwhile employer, you have my sympathy and/or my congratulations, whichever fits your feelings about the situation. May you all find bigger and better opportunities in your future.

If so many good persons' jobs weren't on the line, this would be hilarious.
As an outsider, I do not know the reasoning behind the pink slips, but want to know more of what happened. Blame it on the economy?
One could write a long article about why that one game company is falling apart. I like to put it square on the shoulders of misplaced and mistimed priorities. I realize this is broad, but it covers everything from being much too late for the kiddie market to overfragmenting itself with too many games.
Could be, I am just bummed that so many people I had fun with over the years are going their separate ways....
