Until then, I'm confused.

Ever notice how some of the hosts sign off on "non-fiction" TV series like those on HGTV?

"Join us next time... Until then, I'm Norm Abrams, for This Old House Classics."

It's that "Until then, I'm.." that puzzles me. If he's Norm Abrams "until then," who is he afterwards? Does he turn into Bob Vila?
